I started my Nightingale Career as a Journeyman in the 90’s and moved through the ranks in construction to Foreman and then onto running my own projects as a Project Manager. When the opportunity came my way to Manage the Service Department, it was second nature to me to put my 25 years of technical and managerial experience into play and build a solid foundation for the Service Team. On my downtime, you will find me at the lake with my family enjoying the great outdoors.

Special Project Manager, Massi

At 10 years old, I installed a radio and indicator lights on my mother’s bicycle, by running a battery in the back basket … This was when I realized I wanted to be involved with electricity. Being curious by nature I spent quite a bit of time repairing appliances for relatives, who didn’t pay very well if at all, and yes, I was electrocuted a few times. As soon as I graduated from high school, I couldn’t wait to attend Trade School, from which I graduated in 1987 and proudly got my Journeyman ticket.

I enjoy all facets of the electrical field, from automation, industrial, commercial and residential installations, building up a diverse skillset. There’s isn’t much I can’t do or figure out. In the latter part of my career, I actively choose to learn more about renewable energy, by taking a number of courses in Solar Photovoltaic planning and installation. I keep myself on the cutting edge of new electrical technologies and always excited to extend these technological breakthroughs to our customers.

One of my greatest goals is for all buildings to be built on net-zero standards, utilizing all-natural resources and waste recycled conscientiously, and building a sustainable future.

Coming from Newfoundland, I am naturally friendly in nature which is a huge asset especially working in the Nightingale Service Department. Customer engagement is my strong suit and troubleshooting is an area in my job I enjoy the most. My goal is providing superior service and fulfilling our customer’s electrical needs. I received my Electrical Red Seal Ticket in June of 2015 with 8 years experience in the trade. I am thrilled to be part of the dynamic team at Nightingale.

Customer Service, Tabatha

An incredible opportunity presented itself to me when I was asked to join the Service Team. I am a true “people person” making my role a natural fit. With an everchanging customer landscape, my people skills are put into action through my direct contact with our customer base. The family unit is key for me, and the opportunity to be outdoors, spending time at our cabin, lovingly built by my husband, is where you will find me with our two children on my downtime.

Service Electricians

Red Seal Journeyman, Wojtek

I am a seasoned and certified electrician with well over 20 years of electrical experience and one of the longest standing Service Team members. I have built a good portion of my career at Nightingale with my focus on commercial and industrial electrical services. When I am not installing temporary power for our various construction sites, I enjoy bringing our customers vision to life in meticulous detail.

Red Seal Journeyman, Brandon

I started my apprenticeship with Nightingale in 2013 and got my ticket in July of 2017. My proudest moment was receiving my Canadian Red Seal Certification. Being an electrician is a solid foundation to build my career, a decision I’ll never regret. Through the Service Department, I am exposed to an extensive variety of work, with a keen interested in commercial projects. I am physically active and during my downtime, I enjoy snowboarding and most X-Games sports.

Red Seal Journeyman, Dustin

Electrical, people and subatomic theories fascinate me! These three things are the route foundation of choosing a career as an Electrician. The Nightingale service crew are a knowledgeable group of individuals making up a dynamic team of people to work with. One of the areas I enjoy the most about my job is meeting new people and having new problems to solve daily. I received my electrical Red Seal in 2013 and my FSR class B in 2016. I look forward to a long career with the NEL team.

Red Seal Journeyman, Paul

My father was an electrician so the decision to be an Electrician wasn’t a very hard one for me. Though I am new to the Service Department, I have been with the company for a while originally on the larger construction projects. I have a keen interest in high voltage distribution and lighting controls and being part of the team building a substation at a couple of our large construction projects has all contributed to having a well-rounded skill set. In my down time, I enjoy restoring classic cars from the 50’s and 60’s

Red Seal Journeyman, Andrew

The easiest way to say it is; I truly enjoy being an electrician, and my proudest moment would have to be the day I got my own Service Truck. Having my Electrical Red Seal guarantees me a career with high standards and being part of the Service Crew at Nightingale is a great way for me to grow my experience on a day to day basis. My area of interest is, in the Commercial and Industrial sector with a focus on Motor Controls. On my time off I have a passion for rebuilding motorcycles and staying active.

Electrical Apprentice – 5th Year, Adam

Some people are born to work with their hands, I am one of those people. Apart from that, its unlikely the electrical trade would be replaced by ai or robots, ensuring a long and satisfying career. Having dabbled in various construction jobs, logistics and realty, joining the expertise of the Nightingale Service Team to complete my apprenticeship has put me on the cutting edge of my training. It’s a privilege to work with a group of people who excel in every part of the business, especially in the areas that interest me the most; automation, distribution, high voltage and industrial. I have a vested interest in Mind & Body Wellness, so on my downtime, you will find me skiing or snowboarding, trap shooting or road biking.
