28 Remembrance Day ceremonies in Metro Vancouver 2015

As millions of Canadians across the country pay their respects to military service members past and present, here are all the ways Metro Vancouver residents can say their peace on Wednesday, November 11.

Victory Square Cenotaph

  • Schedule:
    • 9:45 a.m. – Vancouver Bach Youth Choir and Sarabande performance
    • 10 a.m. – Vancouver Flag Party leads procession of veterans, military marching units, and bands
    • 10:30 a.m. – Ceremony starts
    • 11 a.m. – Last Post sounded, followed by Two Minutes of Silence, 21-gun salute and Rouse and Lament. Royal Canadian Air Force flyby, weather permitting
    • 11:30 a.m. – Remembrance Day Parade, proceeding west down Hastings Street
